Cowboy Casino Night Generates $16,000 in Support for First Responder Families

Blue Family Fund, a nonprofit organization based in Hurst, is thrilled to share the outcomes of its fundraising event held on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

The Cowboy Casino Night drew in roughly 200 enthusiastic gambling enthusiasts and dedicated supporters of First Responders to the Tarrant Event Center. Attendees relished an evening filled with spirits, hearty appetizers, raffle prizes, and a silent auction. This event, presented by Blue Family Fund, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit, successfully raised $16,000, all earmarked to support the families of First Responders.

Stacey Magovern, Co-Founder of Blue Family Fund, expressed her gratitude, saying, “We extend a heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors and supporters. It was an immensely enjoyable evening, shared with our community, all while championing an admirable cause and raising awareness for the needs of the families who bear the loss of a First Responder.”

Blue Family Fund operates as a 501c3 nonprofit, offering scholarship opportunities and financial aid to families of First Responders in dire straits. Every donation made to the Fund, without exception, directly benefits the families of fallen First Responders through scholarships or assistance.

We wish to extend our appreciation to our exceptional sponsors who made this evening possible. Walk-Ons Sports Bistreaux generously sponsored the culinary delights, while our table sponsors included Rachael Hayden Real Estate, C&B Remodel and Construction, Post Net of Hurst, Worthington Monuments, OnQ Solutions, Wendy Moss Real Estate, and Point Blank Safety Services. The photobooth was made possible by Love Media Group, and our VIP Sponsor was Angela Lamb Insurance Agency.
